We offer appointments all day every day, so give us a call and we’ll get you booked in.
When you arrive at the shop your consultant will have a quick chat with you about shapes and styles before giving you some coloured tags to use to select the gowns you would like to try on.
One by one you will start to try on your selected gowns. Getting into a wedding dress is a two-man job, so your consultant will help you step into them, find your footing and fasten you up.
Choosing Your Dress
Now that you’ve tried on a range of dresses, and perhaps the odd wildcard thrown in for good measure, it’s decision time. Your consultant is there to help you and you are welcome to try on your favourite gowns again to help narrow down the selection.
Measurements and Ordering
Now that you’ve decided on your dress it’s time to find out which size to order in. There is nothing to worry about, wedding dress sizes are far from the same as on the high street, so we just pop a tape measure round to make sure we are ordering you the right size according to the designers’ sizing chart. We will then write all the details up and take a 50% deposit.
We will contact you to let you know that your dress has arrived safe and sound, and we will arrange a date for your first fitting. You will need to bring your bridal shoes with you to this appointment so that we can alter your hem just right.
The balance is also due at this fitting, and we will schedule a second fitting within 2 weeks of your wedding.
Final Fitting and Collection
Your final fitting is to make sure everything is ok and you’re happy with the alterations. It is a good idea to bring your maid of honour with you to this fitting so that we can show her how to dress you, fasten you up and how to bustle the train.
You are then free to leave your dress with us until the week before your wedding. We will steam your dress ready for you to collect.
Your Wedding Day!
The next time you’ll wear your dress is on your wedding day! Make sure you enjoy every minute.
We love to see our brides on their wedding day so make sure you send us some photos.
